Current travel situation

 

Anyone who is travelling to Ireland is currently required to 

  • complete a COVID-19 Passenger Locator Form

  • present a negative COVID-19 PCR test not older than 72 hours prior to arrival in Ireland. 

If you travel to Ireland from any of the high risk countries, you must complete a 14-day quarantine.

 

Are there any travel restrictions on the students’ country of origin?

 

Ireland has implemented a strategy to minimize the spread of COVID-19. The strategy has a 5 level alert system and Ireland is currently at Level 5 COVID-19 restrictions. Higher, further and adult education should remain primarily online.

Any traveller arriving in Ireland is required to present a negative COVID-19 PCR test result not older than 72 hours.

Anyone who is arriving in Ireland is required to complete a passenger locator form. Students arriving in Ireland are required to confirm the address where they will be staying for the first 14 days and they will need to quarantine at that location.
