Current travel situation

 

The Minister of Foreign Affairs calls for the avoidance of foreign travel, which is not necessary. 

 

Poland Border Guards impose restrictions on the entry of foreigners to Poland and the obligation to undergo quarantine after crossing the border: 

  • Only the people belonging to one of the criteria on the list can enter the Polish Border currently.  

  • Everyone crossing the Polish border must undergo mandatory quarantine of 10 days

 

Are there any travel restrictions on the students’ country of origin?

 

The travel restrictions are not imposed on certain countries of origin for international students. The same restrictions Poland? applies. International students belong to one of the categories who are allowed to enter Poland for educational purposes.


Do I need a PCR test? 

 

It is not mandatory. 

Everyone who crosses the Polish border must undergo a 10-day mandatory quarantine. However,  if you are vaccinated against COVID-19 or you have a negative result of the diagnostic test for SARS-CoV-2 are released from quarantine after crossing both the external and internal borders.


Especially, students belonging to one of the categories who are exempted from the quarantine after crossing the Polish border.

 

What is the quarantine situation?

 

Travellers who cross the Polish border are subject to the quarantine obligation of 10 days. However, as explained above, the quarantine period can be exempted in many ways.


If you are an international student studying in Poland, you can be exempted from the quarantine after crossing the border.
