Current travel situation

As from July 1st, 2020 EU Member States and Schengen Associated States, including Spain, have decided to maintain temporary entry restrictions for non-essential travel from third countries by non-European citizens. All travellers are required to present a Health Control From upon arrival. There are exemptions in place where the travel restriction has been lifted for certain individuals.

As of March 8th, 2021 any traveler coming from these countries is required to mandatory quarantine for 10 days. The quarantine period can be shorted if after 7 days a negative test result has been provided.

International students are exempted from the temporary travel restrictions to Spain, regardless of nationality or place of residence.

You are allowed to enter into Spain if the corresponding visa documents have been issued and the entry must take place during the academic year or during the previous 15 days.
