Updates on several countries

India has been classified as a country with a COVID-19 variant. The German government has also updated its restrictions concerning other countries such as France, the United Kingdom, Norway, and Bulgaria. You will find the updated list of countries here.

When entering Germany from a risk area, an area with high incidence, or a virus variant, there are still restrictions in place. You have to present a COVID-19 test, and you may be subjected to a mandatory quarantine. There are limited exceptions for individuals entering the country from a virus variant area. In general, Germany implemented a ban on passengers directly transported from such countries by train, bus, ship, and air.
